Two people, one word: sneh.
Sneh means love — the quiet, everyday kind. This is how a little of it in Raipur turned into a family of 28, and counting.
It began with a simple idea.
That every child deserves a chance to learn beyond books — and that talent isn't a privilege of the fortunate.
SnehLYT Foundation was started in 2024 by Sangeeta Agrawal and Snigdha Dixit. What began as classes and festivals for children in Raipur grew — quietly, steadily — into something bigger: women learning skills they could earn from, a youth wing finding its feet, and a community that shows up for each other.
In September 2025, Sneh was formally registered as a non-profit. We started as 2. We're 28 now — and people keep joining, because the work is real.
Sangeeta Agrawal
Carries most of the operational, creative and digital load — content, events, coordination, often at unconventional hours. The engine behind the everyday.
Snigdha Dixit
An active partner in building and growing Sneh — shaping programs and standing alongside the family as it grows.
The name is the plan.
SnehLYT is built from three words — the journey we want every child to take.
- LLearn
Find out what you can do
Given the chance to learn, a child discovers what they're capable of — books, art, confidence, culture, all of it.
- YYearn
Then you want more
Learning sparks curiosity. Once you learn, you start to yearn — to grow, question, and reach further.
- TTurn
And it turns into something
That yearning becomes real. Talent gets polished, and with confidence it can turn into a skill — maybe a living, one day.
Six things we hold onto
Learn beyond books
Every child deserves a chance to learn more than a syllabus.
Talent is everywhere
It isn't a privilege of the fortunate — it lives in every child, waiting to be found.
Empower a woman, change a family
When a woman is empowered, an entire family transforms.
Youth move first
Real change begins when the youth decides to take that first step.
A promise of love
Sneh is more than a program — it's a promise of sneh.
Real work, real people
People join Sneh for the work that matters, not just to participate.
How we got here
Sneh is born
Founded by Sangeeta Agrawal and Snigdha Dixit. First children's programs begin — dance, writing, personality and gratitude workshops.
First festivals & first fundraiser
Diwali gifts to 500+ children, our first exhibition fundraiser, and donations to a Blind School and the Kash Foundation (Thalassemia).
Women's programs launch
Mehndi, parlour skills and self-defence training begin.
The Grand Festive Exhibition
Sneh's biggest event yet — and the launch of Rasoi Se Rozgaar with The Culinary Affair.
Formally registered
SnehLYT Foundation becomes a registered non-profit. The Youth Wing is introduced.
Still growing
Women's Day games and eye check-up camps, a third fundraiser, and a family that's now 28 strong — and counting.
